There is family by biology. Then there is family by choice. In many instances who is to say which is the deepest tie. Biology and kinship are interesting in their perspectives, aren’t they?
A Family by Michael Romani When life takes its turn And we watch the world burn Times come a little too tough Yet, too much is never enough Will you run into a raging fire Pledging your best to never tire Is there something there in your heart That will always stop from ripping apart We have to give all we can give We to live with all we can live Never giving up not one inch Digging deep down into our moral trench There it is as it seems This old cruel cold tears at our dreams But, they'll never, ever win What they tear down, we'll just build again In this celebration of our humanity We live life large in our dignity Some might say it is our vanity And still this love has built a family (c) January 4, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
