Samson VI

Further attempt to depict the story of Samson and Deliah from the Book of Judges:

Samson (VI)
by Michael Romani

VI

An uncertain meeting at the granary
Speaks of that wistful bit of insanity
A servant girl separating chaff from wheat
Shows tiniest smile that seems too fleet

Samson speak of his head spinning
She upon the certainty of winning
Love sparkles its sweet fascination
While the dazzle of her smile brings distraction

Though their time is not their own
As sure as she must answer to the throne
A touch between hands has its calling
As words without words whisper that he is .. falling….
