One Way Destination

What is preached will be lived in
Lessons learned even though forgiven
Constantly serving as lessons learned
We thank you for all that's discerned

In every way we hope to be a lighthouse
Shining bright and hoping not to douse
The beliefs of all who we find around us
And doing our best just because

We know Jesus as the way, truth and light
And the only way to ever truly get this right
There is no other way to alternative 
No matter how much we hear in superlative

About other ways we think sound good
But, the truth is it's simply misunderstood
The one path to know God has been shown
And in this faith the river of life has grown

Not a single inch  in width but always narrow
The way taught by the God of the sparrow
That counter of very feather demands the truth
And this my friends stands beyond dispute

There long before the cross, Jesus made Hs choice
Becoming our savior in  both body and voice
Despite fully knowing the death he must pass through
And He did this willingly for me and for you

There on the cross He became all of our sin
Becoming the sacrifice to redeem us again
There was no other way to gain this price
No other way will ever serve to suffice
