Sing your songs
To protect my trail
Offering safe passage
Past the hounds of Hell

My soul is troubled
Here in these times
When difficulties
Get in the way of rhymes

Smile your vision
Of better things to come
That I might find the decision
Maybe not best for all but for some

Keep me close
In your spirit's dance
With hope for tomorrow
When we might by chance

Find our trails 
Have merged once again
And you might remember me
My forever friend
