Learning again and again the difference between fool’s gold and real gold when it comes to the heart.  In this case, I believe the proof is in the deeds done and love shown gracefully time and again.

The Love of One So Good

Somewhere here and now in my infinity
I have found my way along my journey
Into the graceful love of one so good
Whose words and actions are understood

Easily as though the world I've known
Has screamed and troubled but never shown
The kindness of the words unsaid
That go on and on playing inside my head

All the little gestures and all of your grace
That have flown into my life with your embrace
When I am feeling beaten down by severity
You return the best of me so very tenderly

Kinder than your sweet words have been your actions
Each of these heartfully meant for my satisfaction
None of these meant to for anything less the good
That I am loving and treasure as it's understood

You've taught me lessons without necessity of telling
Words emblazoned in my heart and head without yelling
That yours is the difference between gold and fool's gold
These are the things that from the beginning you've showed

Now I only wish to become and be the man that you deserve
To echo back your heart returning the love un-swerved 
Giving you the goodness that you have freely given me
I owe my life and happiness to all that you've given me
