Comes a time when our mom is no longer with us in physical form but is in our hearts and souls, right?  This poem is meant to honor that.

A Mother's Love Remembered 2019

A mother's love remembered as an ocean wide
As strong and long as wind, rain and tide
Every sweetest smile was born inside her love
Ever hurt healed a remembrance from above

In a shine of faith, truth and prayer
As sure as tomorrow, mom was always there
To put the band-aid on the open sore
And to give love as needed and then some more

So it is on this very special, honored day
That we remember our mothers in every way
Knowing they believed in each of our hearts
Now it is that each of us do our honest parts

To remember the lessons that we were taught
And all the best that each mother has brought
In giving unselfishly to each and every child
With tender mercy given with compassion mild
