When life gets down to the fundamentals, isn’t kindness what we most need? Like so many say, be that change.
Cultivating Kindness I by Michael Romani In this world, filled with sin And perhaps too much blindness One clarion thought strikes again We need to be cultivating kindness Kindness is of the Holy Spirit We need to abide by and hear it This world needs a true friend Someone decent and true on which to depend This world has too much harshness Filled with selfishness, often compassionless What it needs is a spirit of forgiving A gentleness shown in the art of our living Tenderness and peace given to one another Remembering that we are here for each other Be ye kind always toward one another Remembering to be this for our sisters and brothers The indwelling Holy Spirit opens our eyes To be kind and it comes as no real surprise Friendly, generous and patient as our outflow Should be the light we always follow To be easy going and warmly hearted With selfishness being the path parted Every step taken as Christ's reflection Is the Biblical path of our truest connection (c) June 3, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
