Where we persist through strife
That is to always be true
No matter what life throws at you
Stay the course and be true
Though all of life's trauma
And despite all the drama

Though it may seem you're on your own

As though tied down and dragged
Have the strength to remain true

Though it might be hard to smile
And sometimes seem not so worth while
