In Moments of Our Prayers

Taking myself a walk with God for awhile
Finding in each step another reason to smile
Talking with Jesus in my every living prayer
Knowing with each answer, He’s always there
Ask and it is given to you, seek and ye shall find
There in the adoration we’ll never be left behind
In our dialog we find our blessings which abound
All of these waiting simply waiting to be found
Showing no favoritism in the love He keeps giving
Nor in allowing us our mistakes and then forgiving
All it takes is that we simply make the request
Instead of acting like it’s some sort of cosmic test
Ask what you seek from the bottom of a clean heart
Removing any wicked motives we might have at start
Otherwise, these barriers stop answers we need
From asking in faith in the belief we need not plead
But to have confidence in what we will receive
It simply a matter of holding strong to what we believe
Knowing that all is in accord with the best of God’s will
Handling the increase given in making this good and real
God keeps on knocking on our door with opportunity
To grow and gain peace while given all that is necessary
To live well and know we can face every single ordeal
And with God’s good will, we know we shall prevail
God’s giving nature gives all we want or even better
We just need to keep that spirit and keep it together
But in all things God works for our best good
And that’s something we should always keep understood
