Telling me that I'm all wrong
I guess listening takes to long
You only want to be heard telling
Seems it's always you doing the yelling

Telling me that I am addicted to lies
Girl, I think it's time you open your eyes
No man in his right mind puts up with this
Unless it's a man who knows what he misses

Telling me that I offer nothing but fake
You know that's really hard to ever take
Especially from someone who said she loved me
Especially from someone who I know saved me

My story is one that's a hard luck story
Striking out every time that I try for glory

I put aside my needs for feelings more passionate
