Another of the Earth’s little protective systems is that fragile shield call the ozone layer.

Ozone Care

Gliding through the ozone with good care
Minding the healing of this protective layer
The Earth, she is a living, breathing thing
Generously offering more than we humans bring

Mankind found we could together
Find a way to make this all the better
And in this truth, we must turn to embrace
That without the ozone layer, there'd be no human race

As the ozone layer emerged back some 3 billion years
Life arose from the waters to begin our parade of tears
Oxygen was merely the waste product of the earliest days
And with a turn became the protective layer in a daze

That allowed land life to develop and then survive
And in turn for that life to explore and thrive
Taking the tentative steps onto dry land
All in chain reaction to God's invisible hand
