Halloween Poem #20:

Music of the Night

Creatures of the night
Make such music don't they?
Listen closely until first light
To the things that make the undead happy

The vampire lord finds love tragic
As it has lost all of its magic
The choices made along the way
Are choices of the night and not the day

The changes made are spoken in voice
But come from forces beyond our choice
Joined as if one in our shared destiny
Dracula holds this out as his legacy

With the glowing of the moon
The Wolfens grow in power soon
Howling mad as one with savagery
They will fight on until sweet victory
