Halloween Poem #26:
Season of Fear by Michael Romani Queue the creepy music For the just the right vibe Dare to step inside And then you decide As an indulgent prattle With wicked stories told Bones shake and start to rattle At the thought of souls sold The nights are dark, growing cold The witching hour is on us And just as in days of old We come searching for that haunted buzz That buzz of all that stuff Of which we cannot get enough Goose bumps raising on legs and arms With shrills of horror rising up as alarms It seems it is that time of year Where pleasure is felt at knowing fear Loving the thrill of things bumping in the night With each scary moment filled with delight (c) October 27, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
