Part of living a life with more gratitude might include less fight and conflict and greater humility. Poem #2 for this season of thankfulness:
A Humble Path Past Conflict by Michael Romani With gratitude not as demanding Toward the God of my understanding I seek to live more humbly Than in my prideful theology Having stumbled into openness I have found a bit of somethingness That has formed more into relationship Than into form or ritual worship It's crucial that we learn to communicate And find peace in how we share and relate So much of this can be seen in an angle The power of three supplies its own triangle Finding that tiny spark of shared divinity Invited in with all effort at humility It's there in the need to find the reframe Instead of the conflict of fixing blame Getting past the pain of people, places and things To lessen all the unbearable urges these bring The either/or found in the constant polarization Brought on by a tribal sense of alienation Instead let's strive to arrive at a new destination By giving our ears and hearts and eyes with fascination Healing with grace and in grateful humility Co-creative in this, let's begin to build unity In this unity, we will begin to find our peace Bringing this gain by our intentional release Of all the many or few things we allow or reject And through this, let's find our way past petty conflict (c) November 2, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
