In Preparation For Journey

In the preparation for journey
There are steps meant for me
Putting my house in order is right
As I approach Heaven's light
To get my life close to right
Righteousness must be clung tight
It's wise you know to plan for death
Before the drawing of one's last breath
If you have taken this into action
In your ending days there is satisfaction
In knowing just what you pass along
And that all the part are where these belong
Every Christian knows of coming home
And that their place is engraved in the stone
The stone of Heaven's very foundation
And in this, we find our hope and inspiration
