As Jesus Was Walking (In My Life)

Coming home to Jesus, taking my love home
There at the foot of the cross, not alone
There in the turning of the final stone
Your words speak to me as I come to atone

Running to the Lord in my faith in His glory
Empowered by the message of His story
In Him I find my way  on the path of salvation
You by my side, blessed by love and satisfaction

A tale that finds our Father and Jesus simply walking
Holding her hand, touching her love and talking
As we listen to the message there in the day's sermon
So happy to share in the Lord's ways as best determined

The tranquility of peace has brought it's true meaning
Coming to bear on what we can do as human beings
Fulfillment met and kept with no regret feeling true love
Extraordinary in the meanings lived in us as the above

The truth in all the reasons I have for loving as I'm living
Keeping promises as best I can and then being forgiving
Thought about answers to questions that have been incomplete
Were met in God and now your love connected as we meet

All those things that make life worthy of all the days of living
Are found in God, you, the girls and knowing life is for the giving
Committed to the purposes that make my life worth while
Are kept in following Christ, serving well and found in your smile
