Common culture often sees child’s play as an expression of something basic. Modern psychology suggests that it is otherwise. I am inclined to agree.
There's the Deep of That by Michael Romani There is as it seems A world that allows for dreams And the best way a child plays Is one that allows a zillion ways ..To not arbitrarily predesign But allows each child to refine Their joy in how each learns Exceeding self impositions to discern For themselves outside the archetype Moving beyond the push backed hype Creating their own agency in preference From the basic building blocks of reference One step at a time making our better place Each step of the way with smiling faces Perhaps this is too much to dream Or, maybe that's just the way it seems But if we dare not let out the pleasure inside How will it ever be that we learn to confide In that which is our own truest voice There's the deep of it, in that choice (c) January 29, 2020 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
