Having missed most of church today, it was time to do a study on my own. Based in part on Mark 1:15:
Blessings of the Future Kingdom by Michael Romani Living in a world that is broken Standing on the promises The Lord has powerfully spoken Living life on the premises Oh, Father are we there yet Crying eyes in the wilderness Want to know if we're near yet Looking for a bit of the blissfulness With the faith of a mustard seed We look toward that tomorrow When the Lord will answer every need Replacing joy for our lives of sorrow In a Digory tree growing in the by and by We look perhaps foolish in our ways Stopping to pause as the world passes by We look toward our sacred end of days The keys of the kingdom can be found By the believing hearts of us all Human sin prevails and seems to abound Until we respond to our Father's call Despite those things that seem reality We need to keep one eye toward the kingdom His true glory is our very own immortality Though the beatitudes are held to so seldom I know that the days will come When with tears wiped from our eyes We will greet our Father's kingdom In a world anew under a sweet sunrise (c) February 23, 2020 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
