Her mind is a lot on the future and how that will be.  I would lie if I said mine isn’t as well. Wrote this with real hope despite feeling a bit ill.

Stars Align & Connect

Is love enough is the question
Asked with some hesitation
Emotions and physicality united
Is something organically decided

I imagine champagne in flute
Chilled just right with my beaut
We're all in need of a fairy tale
It can maybe seem a bit unreal

Touched in more ways than I understand
That spark of magic when you touch my hand
A whispered soiree by simple candlelight
Moments shared in reflections dreamed of our first night

A talk and a cuddle to set the pace
Connecting as we are face to face
Counted shoulders make us bolder
A set of expectations from love's folder

Rose petals mark the path on floor
Romantic ambiance impossible to ignore
You and me finally are alone
There in our special free fall zone

I picture for us a future of synergy
Filled with love and very special energy
Every moment leads us to the very next
All the dots like stars caught as they connect
