She Seemed Familiar

The challenge was to write a poem similar to a haiku that had an element of irony.   What in life these days is not ironic?

Downtown Indianapolis - Conversations Among Friends

She Seemed Familiar
by Michael Doyle

She seemed familiar
Until we started talking
We had met before

The more that I know
The more I wanted to know
Perhaps we'll talk more

Turning stranger friend
Seems like a good way to end
Is that ironic?
