Fast As A Fox

When the raiders came, survival was to the strong and fleet of foot…

Fast As A Fox
by Michael Doyle

Run, run
Fast as a fox
Hide, hide
Inside the rocks

Deep, deep
Inside the grotto
Weep, Weep
Hidden In the shadow

Blood falls like rain
Inceptively, life drains
Flowing rich and warm
Death to life conforms

The wolves chase through wood
Fire's secrets understood
Excalibur sinks into its stone
Blood spills to atone
