“A daughter is a gift of love.” – Author Unknown

Two daughters are twice the gift of love.  I treasure each moment spent with them.  Watching each of them growing into the very unique young ladies they are, marveling in their insights, grace and humor.   Even at this late hour, as they lay sleeping and I play catch up with chores that I would have normally completed hours ago, I sit here feeling so completely and richly blessed by the day that I had yesterday.  I still remember wondering and being a bit fearful of what it would be like to try to figure out how to be daddy to girls.  Sons, are easy enough.  I understand very well how to teach sports and things like that.  But, what I’ve discovered in this adventure is that as much as I’ve learned to teach and share, there is also that they teach me.  Not only showing me the world seen through their eyes, but, what they need to learn from me and what I might best share.   I thank the Lord for such wonderful persons that they are and who they are becoming.
