The notes that play
Remind us of yesterday
In happiness and sympathy
We feel this in the melody

That plays forever in our minds
The feelings we won't leave behind
Every second, magic we relive
All the notes that our hearts give

Heart stops along the way
Get us through our busy days
Whether we listen or we play
It's all in the tunes we live and pray

It's an amazing sense of grace
That our hearts love and embrace
All those songs from yesterday
Are what will carry us through each day

No matter the length to our miles
When we dance, I feel your smiles
And suddenly everything will be okay
You and music get me through my worse day
