God Revealed In the Smallest Details

The eyes might be the windows of the soul
But it's the little things that elude control
Where through the lenses of macrophotography
We become consumed with our use of technology

It all opens up a new world to our view
In softness and simplicity, we find these things true
Autofocus become are best sort of friend
When macro-composition is our new best friend

The three dimensions found in a flower
Can bring definition to our best hour
A hint of color suggests itself in the background
And in that moment, another masterpiece is found

By taking the smaller than ordinary
Enhanced by traces of light, we find the extraordinary
There are amazing things to be found in the small
Each at tale to be told that wishes to be tall

The greatest artist, God, makes no mistakes
Despite the multitude of ceaseless heartbreaks
That we, the created so very often embrace
With each tear we gaze deeply into His face
