A Christmas Heart

Christmas Under One Star
A Christmas Heart
by Michael Doyle

On a forge borne of magic
The Star of Bethlehem
Can be harnessed with love
A Christmas heart wipes away the tragic
Only in the way an elf understands
Led as these are from up above

When times are getting hard
And you could not be more low
Stop thinking and instead feel from your heart
Christmas spirit is the wild card
To move beyond what you think you know
Just keep being a true believer as from the start

It's going to take a miracle to see
To find our way back to home
But the spirit of Christmas will save the day
Making it real and not just a fantasy
Finding company imagined by the hearthstone
Where believing hearts will always find their way

Believe, just dare again to believe
To feel, to dream and then to conceive
Requires listening from the heart as we shall
Always and forever and to never deceive
But to always live for hope and believe
Is the moral to our great and needed tale
