To Simply Believe

The Square root of the possible
Of all that we can achieve
Is to have some gumption 
And to simply believe

Throwing caution to the wind
Taking chances we defend
More on odds approximated
And guaranteed seldom as estimated

The magic isn't just in what's lost
Though it's hard with quite the cost
But, it is seeing the way to possibility
That we'd best find the best capability

Closed eyes under the mistletoe
Tells the truth of more than we know
Feeling the better of a shared smile
There are things in life that are worth while

Don't be afraid of your imagination
It starts the journey to our best destination
Unafraid of what your heart and mind see
Together we can make dreams into reality

We each have hearts that need to mend
And there's no telling how the story ends
But we choose to believe in believing again
This could bring the possible that heaven sends

Having only fear itself to fear
You and I just need to persevere
Making it work out in dedication
Formulating exactly the right calculation

The square root of the possible
Of all that we can conceive
Is to have the strength of which we're capable
And to simply... believe
