Salt and Light

We need with loving greeting
To return to uplifting prayer meetings
Step by step, we can find God again
It starts by sharing God's love with friends

It's in improving our Godly relationship
That we can and will improve our government
Finding our way back to a Jesus movement
Will find our national morality's improvement

Let's take this moment of opportunity
To embrace what is right for you and me
These are the last days of prophecy
As spirit pours out for more than love of misery

In these days of loving evil over good
The difficulties increase as knew they would
Sin will be rampant as never before
The need for God has never been more

Love has been banished in the face of hate
Grown cold but still we know it's not too late
We must be prepared to act on our great commission
We are to be the salt and light as our mission

Tocqueville found our greatness in the our churches
Where America flourishes even as our nation lurches
In prayer, God will guide and tell us what to do
And we can do what is needed, me and you

It's up to each of us to be the light
Starting with each of us together, we'll make it right
Letting God use us to press ever on
Determined to follow before our opportunity is gone
