All Those Secret Sins

A Christmas Dream - Me & the Man On the Moon
All Those Secret Sins
by Michael Doyle

Oh my, the hypocrisy
Have you no dignity
With all the secret sins
That pops up now and then

Hiding hate behind that smile
Meaning yes in our denial
In a matter of time, it reveals
Itself in vivid details

Right before the world's eyes
Half expected and not a surprise
God knows all our little lies
And does not accept our alibis

Let it be understood
It's for our own good
That it is insurmountable
The Lord holds us all accountable

When you see the signs and read
The warnings you should heed
It's best to change your ways
Living in repentance for the rest of our days
