Let's rest here a little while
Your hands in mine
You give me reasons to smile
As my thoughts refine

What it is I feel deep inside
As I look into those eyes
Talking soft as we confide
The love we have realized

In all the miles yet to walk
There is lightness in our hearts
The sweetest expressions we talk
This is what love is and imparts

And maybe it is just that true
That our journey has only just begun
But as I sit here beside you
I know that the hardest part is done
