Through the Years

Invictus - Illuminating Lessons From the Past
Through the Years
by Michael Doyle

Silently in my day to day
I live just as I pray
Needing a miracle some way
Knowing that at least God will stay

Every step grows my walk
Taking my soul beyond talk
Into the power of my emotions
Every lesson strengthens my devotion

Needing some inside information
To get me through this earthly devastation
Learning that you are my destination
Accepting at last, your invitation

In you, I have found salvation
True to the truth of your explanation
Having two ears, I needed to hear
The beauty you've taught me through the years
