If I Have More to Live

Pemberly Shores Revisited - Catch of Driftwood

If I Have More to Live
by Michael Doyle

If I have more to live
I would live it with you
If I have more love to give
My love, I would love you

If I get to live any more
I want to live those days
With you and then some more
Learning all of your ways

If I might see your smile once again
When you see me as I come in
Living as we do, lovers and friends
It would be a life I would never end

If we might share one more kiss
As I find you in my arms as I do
I would know again what I will miss
If I do not see this day complete with you

For as it seems after all of the years
You are as real as one day I dreamed
And I say with a half smile behind hidden tears
Thank you for being all that you have seemed
