Sharing God's Love

Strange...at this time in history
That two thirds of children live in poverty
This is something we can change
If only our priorities, we would rearrange

Each step that we might take
Can be the difference that we make
This is the shine we should not shake
And the walk of belief we cannot fake

Whatever we do for those among the least
Is a step forward in destroying the beast
Where we see hunger, we can feed
It's a simple truth that we must concede

Where there is fear and sorrow
We can shine forward a new tomorrow
This then is one thing we can do
Sharing God's love given, me and you
