Daring To Live Different

Caillou Bouillon - Experience the Tides - The Crane and the Seagulls
Daring to Live Different
by Michael Doyle

As we learn to accept who we are
We set our eyes on the mother star
It's the urge to get back home
To the family, no longer alone

The heart breaks on the shore
But still we dare to search for more
As we try to learn lessons and imitate
All of the motivations we try to create

Life happens as it does and we wait
With only a few brave souls daring to escape
The hows and whys of changing style
In the names of the false gods we defile

Turning traditions for the sake of the one rock
That shapes and molds the incurious flock
We break the bonds to become the outcast
For daring to live different from the past
