Dwelling Richly

Standing there caught amidst my sigh
I raise my hands up to the sky
Giving myself in prayerful conversation
In the truth of my greatest relation

In an echo of God's word, lived in my life
I turn further toward peace, away from strife
The journey traveled has taught me my name
Living each moment, loved in each as the same

A boy grown up to become this man
The Lord has taught me to be the best that I can
Life moves on in  its sense of direction
The best of these being loving connection

The options we have are given by God's will
The secret is waiting for this to reveal
And to lean into the safety of God's given rails
That provide all the pertinent details

The peace of Christ brings us to wisdom
As we sing our worship in God's kingdom
Doing everything in Jesus's name, we learn to live
In His perfected love as we learn to forgive

Worry cannot live at God's holy address
As we put on peace; we put aside stress
The pages of scripture provide the release
That make life easier living in our peace

The Word of God shall clearly ring true
When taken in authentically in overview
It's not our place to edit His words
This dwelling of love becomes action verbs

As we put into practice in all of our days
All the reasons for why we praise
The embers of our hearts must burn true
In all the names of God, sung by me and you

In every note, within every song
We gather together in church where we belong
Singing our songs of honor in all we do
In the name of God, we will live true

In all things, we must live to honor God
In every situation, however seemingly odd
There are the patterns that shape our test
Let's put on God's ways to be our very best

Thinking and thanking land in their convention
While we trace life's journey in the right direction
There are no limits to God's holy ministry
That bring us in love through every misery

Stepping outside our singular sense of comfort zones
Toughened in our pores and poses to our bones
Throwing off the shackles we've put on ourselves
We rise up in faith beyond books on the shelves

Living each moment taught to us openly
Absorbing the promises given us infinitely
In living Christ's ways in all their mystery
We become as one with the truth of integrity

This then becomes our living ministry
As a open door to the living word of opportunity
We live our best moments used for God's purpose
In spreading the truth for God's best uses
