Dulcinea del Toboso's Truth

The best gravy is the world's hunger
And in our dreams, we grow no younger
In his sight, the lady's true beauty
Removes her sins as is his knightly duty

He's dreamed of her as a virgin lady
And while his life turns his thoughts softly
Dulcinea has led a life that has been tough
Perhaps his belief is enough two, but just enough

In every man's heart is his own trace of truth
And some of the best pursue Heaven from youth
The best defense is the one that diverts
From life's cruelties and little hurts

With no selfishness in even a single bone
The madness of life only makes him groan
About that which we may never truly know
This is the way of life as on and on it goes
