In My Darkest Times

In My Darkest Times
by Michael Doyle

In my darkest times
When I'm all out of rhymes
You hold me in your holy palm
Keeping me safe and calm

You pulled the Savior out of His grave
With all you are and do to save
Jesus, you've always amazed
Even when I stood there dazed

Wondering what I'd do next
Just a collection of dots and no connects
You've shown up with faithful grace
Restoring hope to my anguished face

Without your love, there would be no trace
Of love felt in all of time and space
As you share your truth with those like me
Opening our hearts to every possibility
