They were left behind
Out of sight, out of mind
S.O.S. - we knew the address
S.O.S. - we created the mess

Breaching the agreement made
To men unafraid
To pay the price for our nation
There is no solid explanation

Staring down the barrel
Shooting from the straight and narrow
As if their lives depended on honor given
That they were left behind can never be forgiven

Ivory towered imbeciles thinking they knew best
Put their impractical theories to the test
Finding special operators expendable and demanding
And their guns and expertise beyond understanding

The only misunderstanding of the revolutionaries' view
And the immediate results of being under-armed and too few
Around the nation, the widows and children were shaking
As Clinton left the men stranded - it was heartbreaking

There's a price to Obama's treachery to be had
And it is the price of honor - which is sad
This treachery's price came with integrity lost
At a time when the loss was at a premium cost

They were left behind
Out of sight, out of mind
S.O.S. - we knew the address
S.O.S. - we created the mess

Breaching the agreement made
To men unafraid
To pay the price for our nation
There is no decent explanation

Staring down the barrel
Shooting from the straight and narrow
As if their lives depended on honor given
That they were left behind can never be forgiven

Pea shooting expert who knew next to nothing
Were not even skilled at the game of bluffing
Ivy League snobs who knew less than they think
Bred disaster edged to this catastrophe's brink

One bad decision made - one after another
Killing a true believing ambassador and my brothers
Set up like a surrealistic shooting range
Yet, Hillary found nothing too strange

A non-secure diplomatic outpost unprepared for any contingency
Should be the albatross that serves as Obama's legacy
It was a sniper's paradise that would bring a wicked price
The price of unheeded strategic advice

They were left behind
Out of sight, out of mind
S.O.S. - we knew the address
S.O.S. - we created the mess

A mess of broken agreements made
That sacrificed the lives of men unafraid
And who paid the price for our nation
There is no decent explanation

Staring down too many barrels
Shooting unprotected from indefensible narrow
As if their lives were lost to dishonor given
That they were left behind can never be forgiven
