Hymn of the Taken Heart

There's a lot to be done
I do it through the Son
Hailing Jesus as the king
I lift my voice and sing

Bending like a tree in a hurricane
Hoping for blessed salvation that came
To teach me the ways of love
As I am led to from up above

It's true. He loves us all
If we'd only listen to His call
In His mercy, we are given
Through redemption, we're forgiven

Turning in my path, I am made new
The same repentance can happen for you
His love is blessed and forever true
We know this in all He's done and will do

It's a beautiful truth to know
As we're drawn from the shadow
Pursued into the brightness of light
To know we, too, can get this right

It's true. He loves us all
