In crisis, God's people stand out, Voices raised in praise and given in shout. These moments require navigation; Honoring God is our motivation.
Through scripture, we jump into our day, Meeting our Lord God in every way. We realize that every moment is to give God His due. So, we keep His laws and principles in all that we do.
Some view the world as purely mechanical. Others of us see the world as mystical. Understanding the path of God's will, It's the pragmatic that keeps life real.
Caught up in life's every little dalliance, It's better just to keep lockstep in balance. Dialed in to what happens all around, Knowing that God's love openly abounds.
For all the good, and even in the bad, There is happiness and pain, to be happy or sad,, It is life as it comes and still we read, God gives us all just what it is that we need.
Taking life in with every sight, Wisdom is not strictly black and white. Anchored in the roots of God's holy word, It leaves us seeing God's word in all that has occurred.
Disciplined discovery leads us to discern Between God's ways and else that we learn. Stepping through life in confidence, We learn to live life in all its relevance.
Standing on the mountains to proclaim God's name, We hold our head's high with an ounce of shame. In experiences from wind, fire and whispers in mind, We learn that God will never leave us behind.
In the volume of our echo chambers we are humbled, As all around us, we feel the fall of a world crumbled. That is until a whisper speaks itself into our ear, It brings us calmness as it eases away our crystalline fear.
In the spirit of this age, we easily lose our way. It might be due to the cracking foundation of day to day. Joining hands together, we kneel as we need to pray. The whisper of joy comes together to make things okay.
Crisis often comes to provide it's flash of clarity As we live life in our simplest sense of sincerity. The fire of life exposes the truth of our all. If we listen closely, we'll hear God's call.
Gentle as a whisper, God silently speaks His will. The voices in our heart and mind keep this real. In the quietest moments, God passes us by, Standing on God's promises, we still hold our heads high.
