I know that the past is always present. It's nothing to me that I will resent. The scars are a reminder of where I fell down, and God was always there.
I was struggling, unable to catch my breath. The hurt ran deep enough to meet my death. But His hand was there to help me to my feet, In His salvation, I found victory over defeat.
There are times I am weak and timid. Lost within myself and feeling my limits. But at this moment, Lord, I am strong, And so I offer up my praises in this song.
In a hallelujah moment, I finally understood That God above us is the only one who is good. Forever, I will sing this truth I understand. That I am still standing is from His healing hand.
Of His kingdom and His glory, I witness majesty. The truth is before us, and there is no mystery. Lord Jesus gave Himself, crucified on that cross. That we can be redeemed and not know our loss.
There are times I am weak and timid. Lost within myself and feeling my limits. But at this moment, Lord, I am strong, And so I offer up my praises in this song.
I have witnessed His love in all I've seen and done. The trinity's three lock box: Father, Spirit and Son. Each of these has come to save this sinner's soul. To each of these, I give all that I cannot control.
Greater is His faithfulness than any we employ, It is from His sacrifice that we know great joy. And I know his mercy flows like a river is wide. He brings me to humility and protects me from my pride.
There are times I am weak and timid. Lost within myself and feeling my limits. But at this moment, Lord, I am strong, And so I offer up my praises in this song.
