Look At What The Shrewd Have Done

Look At What the Shrewd Have Done
by Michael Doyle

Oh, look with sadness on what the shrewd have done.
Didn't Jesus warn all to never hurt even a single one?
Say the words of innocence that we've come to despise.
Those on Epstein's Island will suffer from their lies.

Children come into this world loved as precious gifts.
This is true no matter how the world drifts or shifts.
Whoever hurts a child by sin would be better sunk by stone
Heavenly rumors have it that there is little way to atone.

Triggered memories bring those damaged to suicide.
What's the fit punishment? Let the courts decide.
Even if the evil doers escape the wrath of justice done,
God knows the names of all who have hurt the little ones.

There is no one untouchable for this kind of wrong.
The wrath of God will condemn them to where they belong.
Some may have come willingly to become part of the elite.
But like the worst of plans, this evil was born of deceit.

But now the victims have the power and the light
To use their voices screaming into the dark of night.
We together will change the structure of evil's power.
Today, solidarity will forge to win victory's hour.

Pushing back the house of destructive lies,
We stand together, giving voice to the victim's cries.
What kind of monsters, if any, offer any defense
For the cowards who hurt the children for sexual preference?

Rape and molestation must be held gravely accountable.
In no way is any part of Epstein's Island defensible.
I think of the harm done even to my sister, and how she was hurt
And know that we must always be vigilant and keep alert.

To all the wrongs that we have seen transpire,
Light to darkness, we'll set this world on fire.
To stand up for those who cannot -
There is a lasting effect that we choose to never forget.

My tears meet my anger at the exploitation.
How can this abuse have any rational explanation?
Children should not be hurt just because they are weak.
Those of us with able voices must stand up and speak.

Dark, shadowy secrets hid on the elite's island.
The truth to be told will be set right as we demand.
No one is above the law, and no one can hurt the young.
I'd be okay if they all end up unceremoniously hung.
