The thumbprint of Heaven is on our days As we cast our eyes toward God's true ways. We serve the God of all of Humanity, And it begins with Abraham's legacy.
Faith is the anchor that tethers us together. All of us are glory-bound to make the world better. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were instructed faithfully To go and live in strange and alien country.
In faith, each of them did just as they were told. Knowing no other way but to obey the God of old. Picking up the caravan and taking along their family, Each of them traveled forward into their destiny.
Abraham's descendants would outnumber the sand on the beach, We keep this in mind as he travels to the ends we reach. Abraham was called on by the Lord to sacrifice His son, And set his eyes and his heart on following the Holy One.
Before the time that Moses conveyed the Law, Our great patriarch, Abraham, heard His righteous call. All of us have been or will be called to face our test. We are destined to pass this test along with the best.
Every step taken is a lesson in place Of how we best will receive God's grace. We must always be prepared to listen to God and go. In taking His path, we all learn how to grow.
Only by embarking on our grand journey Will we find our way to our destiny? As He guides us in the direction to go, We all learn how we're meant to grow.
Abraham and Sarah made their mistakes. Despite the wounds inflicted, God healed the heartbreaks. From Hagar came Ishmael, and seeds were sown. It grew into the strife that we have all known.
God's word was sacred in the context of redemption. The Middle East conflicts are cause for contemplation. Throughout history, there has been much outspokenness, But God, through Isaac, heals us of our brokenness.
Each of us who wants to build a healthy family Must begin with whom we have kept our community. It comes down to the mutual accountability, And from those with whom we have made our society.
If we do otherwise, our sins come at great expense. This is the truth of life without pretense. Better still to keep on God's path of life. This is the way we keep things most right.
In seeking a sacrifice that could bring a new creation, Our friendship with God brought us to the resurrection. It is by faith in God that we find our belief's navigation And life becomes greater than our imagination.
