A Christian View of Abuse, Part II by Michael Doyle
Do not be fooled or seek to minimize. The truth is plain and seen by our own eyes. All such pain must be faced head-on, Or, otherwise, it will never be gone.
It takes true courage to take this just stand, Help others to safety, per God's reprimand. Sometimes, it becomes necessary to seek separation. It may be the only way to reach reconciliation.
Christians carry each other's burdens as Christ's law. We must be ready to answer God's loving call. It is our duty to face these things head-on. We know if we don't, the hurt will never be gone.
Remember, it is best to do these things together. As a group, this might be handled better. In a spirit of love, if we're in a confrontation, The light of truth can be prayed into resolution.
Turn on the exposure of the searching light, And begin the healing process of getting things right. Reaching out to God, we begin hands clasped tight, The darkest hours will become as revealed as a shining light.
God came to bring more harmony to your life. He is the peace bringer who heals our strife. If there is any settling to do, let God handle the score. This then is what the love of God is for.
It all comes down to breaking the chain. Let's make this world better so it's not in vain. We join hands as we pray together, Let's do what's necessary to make this world better.
