To go and spread the good news While allowing differing views There was room for strategies and doubt While spreading the good news all about
The truth moved with all simplicity Without any need for complexity And rippled with the gospel in every community Impacting us as members of God's family
We surrender our lives to the great commission Given power to witness without omission Here now, in this supernatural hour We are promised a taste of God's power
Handed the gospel with unmitigated zeal We are given this ability by keeping it real Witnessing what we've seen in testimony If only we do what He's done for you and me
To all the ends of God's created earth We carry the Word in ripples, for what it's worth All of this is called forth and begins in the heart With God's pure vision from the start
We can help bring hope for today and tomorrow Easing the boundaries of others and easing sorrow Freeing humanity for all of blessed eternity By sharing the promises given to you and to me
In hurting places, souls will never forget What the eyes have seen and lives on in regret We can help others rise out of circumstantial poverty As we change universal paths for all eternity
