Hollywood Skin Trade

Kio Zen Garden -Koi Pond Reflections
Hollywood Skin Trade
by Michael Doyle

Eternal stars crack but never fade away.
People and their things are relics of yesterday.
Birthdays are reminders of time thrown away.
In so many words, there is ugliness in what they say.

Like a fly swimming, leaning toward the wall.
It inevitably matters as all stars recall
That men age and no one notices graciously,
And women gain one wrinkle, and fame ends sadly.

Birthdays are only happy outside of Hollywood.
It's a trick of light well understood.
Candles atop a whipped cream Champagne cake
Adds up to that it is, just one more mistake.

Dead roses dance past the St. James Infirmary
While posters on the wall echo the injury.
A substance unlocks an ageless perversion,
But the first glance whispers of a better version.

One for one, life renews in a unity of self.
Microscopes and textbooks line the lab's shelf.
We all know what seems too good often is bad advice.
Meanwhile, a snow globe shaken hints at coming sacrifice.

Birthdays are only happy outside of Hollywood.
It's a trick of light well understood.
Candles atop a whipped cream Champagne cake
Adds up to that it is, just one more mistake.

The stars we gaze at are already dead.
Wasn't there a warning in what science said?
Dreams hint at life's less-than-gentle infirmity,
But a less than you star clings to her mortality.

Hollywood back alleys may promise an improbable cure,
But you can bet the motives for it are less than pure.
What is it that you are willing to readily sacrifice?
Will a new self for an old self prove enough to suffice?

Birthdays are only happy outside of Hollywood.
It's a trick of light well understood.
Candles atop a whipped cream Champagne cake
Adds up to that it is, just one more mistake.

Giving birth through mitosis is an ethical slide
Down a slippery slope unless your star needs to divide.
Old self for new self is a bargain to be made,
Only the weak are smart enough to be afraid.

It feels a miracle to be find yourself young again.
Steps must be taken to be comfortable in one's skin.
It all comes to what you'll do to get that part,
With a smile like that, she comes across as pure of heart.

Birthdays are only happy outside of Hollywood.
It's a trick of light well understood.
Candles atop a whipped cream Champagne cake
Adds up to that it is, just one more mistake.

The switch is made at a Hell of a price.
But can it be too much to pay for something so nice?
As the star learns to see these things through,
Living life chases after sets of endless clues.

What is it that she'll give for eternity?
It's a trade-off given for her immortality.
It is, after all, just a game of sheerest vanity
Here, between the walls of Hollywood's feigned sanity.

Birthdays are only happy outside of Hollywood.
It's a trick of light well understood.
Candles atop a whipped cream Champagne cake
Adds up to that it is, just one more mistake.

First Principles: Between a Balanced Republic and A Democracy, the Difference Is Like That Between Order and Chaos

“Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.” – John Marshall, American statesman, jurist, and Founding Father who served as the fourth Chief Justice of the United States

We don’t live in a democracy. We need to stop allowing useless persons from confusing the concepts.

Verses of the Illuminati, Part IV: Leading From the Past

Verses of the Illuminati, Part IV: Leading From the Past
by Michael Doyle

Our ruling elites are leading from the past
Believing themselves worthy of power that will last.
Stalking fear through capitalism for new technology,
It's the sweet path to shaping the future from history.

The world is being held in a strategic ransom,
All in the name of ending our bid for freedom.
Thuggery is afoot by way of our smart devices
As we rely on the biases of the elites' advice.

Cloud services hold the depth of our best information,
As those in power seek their version of our reformation.
Cyber-terrorism could bring the world to its knees,
All through manipulation and controlled disease.

Our masters take our skills so that we must rely
On the tentacles stretched by Big Brother or die.
Living in the virtual world with no passage by which to return,
It's a skills issue that we must rapidly unlearn.

The battle, I fear, is already here.
Does mankind prevail? Or do we disappear?
All the numbers given hold their control.
We are branded to this future, soul after soul.

The nanny state sells us as it tells us what to believe.
Pretending our best interest as they actively deceive.
Everyone is subjected to the influence and preparation.
Individuality is our only escape from this narration.

Phobos and the moons of Saturn establish a pattern
Of fabricated walls, as the aliens descend again.
Tapping on the giant caverns holds the key to the empty
Meanings behind the stories that read like a good mystery.

In this new millennium, we are lost amidst our navigation.
The circular logic holds the hidden truth of our destination.
Tracks are seen transcending the blinking face of the moon.
Does this hold the secret to our doom?

The Totality of Surrender

In the Totality of Surrender
by Michael Doyle

I'm thanking God that I'm never alone.
Like a moss of love, I roll the stone.
Attesting to my faith and fealty,
I give our Lord my devoted loyalty.

I'm thanking God that he's fixed my attitude.
I now face the world with true gratitude
For the holiness that I now serve.
I have more righteousness than I deserve.

God's love is great and growing deeper.
He is, without any doubt my trustworthy keeper.
Through Him, my heart has been made whole
Cured of its sorrow as His love heals my soul.

The Lord above in all of His thunder,
Rules and comforts all that are under
His rule as I stand in my total surrender.
My heart has become wholly warm and tender.

My love reverberates like an echo,
As I step up and out from the world's shadow.
I am freed from the evil of the deceiver.
From salvation, I have lived life as a believer.

In the murmurs and whispers, I have known love,
Turning my adoring eyes toward heaven above.
Tell me, death, what sweet victory has begun
Now that I am devoted to the Father, Spirit and the Son.

First Principles: The Magistrate Is Not the King. The People Are the King.

“This magistrate is not the king. The people are the king.” Gouverneur Morris

Someone should alert the radical Left that they didn’t even get this one correct. Because the follow up sentiment to this is: That the King is simply the first servant in enforcing the laws of the nation – which of course the president is seeking to do, while those financing the No Kings protest are seeking to set the laws pertinent to immigration aside and protect criminal illegal aliens. Civics education needs to be reintroduced in schools.

In American political philosophy, the Left in protesting “No Kings” are essentially accidentally telling the truth of their end results and discarding the People as the sovereigns of the United States. Simultaneously, they manage to forget that Washington set the terms of the presidency as at best a ‘servant king’ on behalf of the citizens of these United States.

In this capacity, President Trump is performing remarkably well. But not so much if you happen to be a criminal illegal alien, which in real terms serves the purposes of the citizens of the United States. Never before have so many protested without understanding the fundamentals of the first principles of the United States of America. Such ignorance is not to be applauded, but instead the protestors need a class in civic education to correct the mistaken notions that led them to believe they were doing some good for our nation.
