Thought For the Day: I Consider It Completely Unimportant Who In the Party Will Vote, or How; But What Is Extraordinarily Important Is This – Who Wil Count The Votes, and How

“I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this — who will count the votes, and how.” – Boris Bazhanov, who was personal secretary to Soviet tyrant Joseph Stalin, quoting Stalin

The meme attributes this to an incorrect source. This was Boris, but, it was how Stalin operated and how the modern Left is operating today. Electoral integrity is not voter suppression. Fraudulent manipulation of the mail in vote is exactly voter suppression. Were it not, do you honestly believe that right after Biden stole the election using this ploy, there would have been a concentrated effort across nearly all of the major news propaganda sources to silence the Republican voice as dangerous to their ideas on how this republic should be ruled and not just governed?

On This Path of Redemption

Finnygook Cove - Chapel Ruins
On This Path of Redemption
by Michael Doyle

The struggles we live
Fill us with doubt
Whatever life may give
To the point we want out

Faith works through us all
However the winds might be contrary
It's the high pressure we must recall
However the opposition seems legendary

The loudest voice is seldom
The truest spoken voice
Keeping faith in the kingdom
Is always the best choice

Satan comes tugging
On our best coat sleeve
Amplifying what's bugging
To pull us away from what we believe

Yet, we must learn to let go
Forgetting our justification
Of letting it be as we know
On this path of our redemption

Thought For the Day: Religious Liberty Is the Chief Cornerstone of the American System of Government

“Religious liberty is the chief cornerstone of the American system of government, and provisions for its security are embedded in the written charter and interwoven in the moral fabric of its laws. Anything that tends to invade a right so essential and sacred must be carefully guarded against.” – Thomas F. Bayard (1828-1898)

First Principles: Tis Folly In One Nation To Look For Disinterested Favors From Another

“Tis folly in one Nation to look for disinterested favors from another; that it must pay with a portion of its Independence for whatever it may accept under that character; that by such acceptance, it may place itself in the condition of having given equivalents for nominal favours and yet of being reproached with ingratitude for not giving more. There can be no greater error than to expect, or calculate upon real favours from Nation to Nation.” – George Washington (1796)

Thought For the Day: Everyone Discusses My Art and Pretends To Understand, As If It Were Necessary To Understand , When It Is Simply Necessary To Love

“Everyone discusses my art and pretends to understand, as if it were necessary to understand, when it is simply necessary to love.” – Claude Monet, painter (14 Nov 1840-1926)

A Perspective of Identity

A MidSummer's Day Dream -Ruined Tower At Night
A Perspective of Identity
by Michael Doyle

Identity
Multi-faceted
Yet abstract
Integral
Stated with trust
Crucial
To communication
Essential
To humanity's explanation

Pervasive
In every social interaction
An accelerated
Mix of culture in transition
Discussed amongst us all
Like Babel's great fall
A conception in definition
Developed in competency
Or lost in the incendiary

Social category
Personal and unique
Often times
Spoken in allegory
Descriptive in technique
Sometimes inclusive
Yet, still elusive
Even in the reflective view
Of what comprises me and you

Who am I?
It's a matter of perception
Let's not be shy
Or caught up in self-deception
I thing we are getting warm
Speaking of heritage and social norm
It's become a social construction
At least when it's not left in destruction
There is emotional significance in our identities
