The Stealth of Decisions Made

Whatever we do militarily and strategically
Is to protect the American people from our enemies.
The trick is in believing exactly what we're seeing.
Every move made is made for America's well-being.
Trump isn't breaking promises about avoiding new war.
We are ostensibly only going back for a little more.
China and Iran have fomented this conflict for years now
And it is up to us to successfully end it somehow.
It is something that we must know for the American good.
This alliance against us is an open secret widely understood.
The Chinese openly aids and abets Iran's acts of terrorism
And this is used to weaken the West in its extremism.
On the contrary, America and Israel are natural friends
For a number of reasons in causes for which each depends
And relies on one another to combat the evils of communism
Even if at times, this has taken a great deal of optimism.
The excerpts read from the outstretched arms of cemetery trees
Of the days leading to World War III won't serve to appease
Foes disinterested in any sort of useless peaceful negotiations.
They'll only speak to the uselessness and of competitions
Between power blocs that are born of natural opposition,
And how inevitably these lead to open acts of competition.
This then is what has arrived us at the point that we are,
Where the wise men say, "(T)his much, and only just this far."
Western Christendom and Israel are the forces for freedom,
Aligned as we are against the Axis of Evil and Communism.
The bonds between us are bonds that do not break easily
Even as we align ourselves to degrade the other side's capability.
This then is a global struggle between candidates for primacy.
We will be in the victor's seat as we struggle for ascendency.
"No Kings" and other strategic hacks weaken our strategy.
Still, we struggle with every reasonable measure and capability.
Since the fall of the Shah, Iran has been a useful tool
Used against us to give joint cause with tyranny's old school
Testing EMP technology while sitting on fields of natural gas,
Our elites have continuously given Iran a sort of free pass.
But there is only one reason for developing nuclear technology.
It is to develop the resources needed for its killing capability.
Is is at this juncture that Trump reasoned his possibility,
And with one killing stroke has acted to end Iran's capability.
Putting America first but not without regard for our friends,
America has acted to set in place protections as it now defends
By proactively taking out Iran's nuclear program's capability,
And if necessary we will do as much more as is necessary.

On Abundance and Incompetence
On Abundance and Incompetence

Across America, the Left rules with impotence.
It's a case of negligence and incompetence.
Despite California's being blessed by providence,
Its governance provides more than ample evidence.
It isn't just an outbreak of vast stupidity.
But more the case evidenced against vapid democracy.
From rampant wildfires burning out of control,
To high speed trains derailing the taxpayers' souls
Poverty is often found in uncontrolled abundance.
It is most often found in systems of dependence.
Those that do not encourage standing on one's own,
Are systems that result in the unfortunate being alone.
A hand up helps the struggling to their feet.
A hand out, keeps a man one step from the street.
To teach to fish is better to give a fish.
This is the truth of life's better dish.
It isn't just on the level of the individual.
The truth is that overregulation proves incapable.
There's a mess to be found in bureaucratic process,
And very little of it has achieved meaningful progress.
Taxation for taxation's sake proves more of a mistake,
Than failing to build well for fires and earthquakes.
Those taxes raised require accountable and effective spending.
Or these result in lost public trust and increased lending.
Neglecting public safety leads to eroded public trust.
This is what leads Democratic states to continuously bust.
While each state must maintain its adaptability,
The point of governance must always have clarity.
There must be measurable outcomes over ideological purity.
Or there will assured failure with absolute certainty.
This is what has led to talent and capital flight.
It will require pragmatism to set governance to right.
Success will require finding the political will..
Continued failure is a certainty until...

Day after day, dot after dot
One way or another, it connects
Taking chances and casting lots
As we wonder about what comes next.
The mullahs act with intimidation,
But they aren't the heart of the nation.
And we must never forget the contention
That we caused this by past intervention.
Repressive regimes have staying power,
May this become the Mullahs' final hour.
What is martyrdom and death's obsession?
We need to end Khamenei's repression.
Revolutionary slogans have a disconnection
As the Iranian people move in opposition.
The culture of this society has its aspirations
Maybe these will yet save the Farsi nation.
Where there had once been endless Tehran nights,
There are endless screams of violated human rights.
The changes come slowly, it seems; drop by drop
It doesn't matter as long as the changes don't stop.
Eventually, God's mercy will bring just desserts,
And the Rubaiyat will be stronger from the hurts
That are felt in the hearts and souls of the Tabrizi
This is the way and story of the Iranian identity
Through the years, our hopes have come to grief
As we have struggled with troubles and beliefs.
Trust between nations can become contrarian.
This, alas, even though the truth rings clarion.
A terrible blood price has been extracted.
And a greater tyranny might become enacted.
Life has a funny way of acting as it rearranges.
This is the nature of such troubled changes.
