Some folks say that Dr. Seuss is mere child’s play.  I don’t want to seem argumentative.  But, while some learned every thing they needed to know in kindergarten.  Others never learn what they really need to know.  For myself, when I was busy playing Daddy to little girls who just coming into this world all the serious books that I read them while they were in their mother’s womb fell to the wayside.  One author’s voice seems to have so much wisdom packed into rhyme and as I read these in a myriad of silly voices, I began to recognize how much the girls might learn if only they brought these words into their souls.

When I saw these words again just now, I knew there was at least one person I hoped might take value in these words.  Sometimes life hands us its most vital questions.  We can overthink these.  If we do, we find ourselves stuck in thinking there is no right answer or right way.  Sometimes, honestly, I am not certain there are completely right answers.

But there are the answers that matter most.  What brings a person the most tension cannot be totally right.  I mean there is some discomfort in change, even the best of these changes.  But, to change requires letting go of a past you don’t much care for and relaxing into who you are.  To reach for this, sometimes requires staying in the same place becoming painful enough to open the bud and begin the blossoming.  Relax and live for being who you truly are.

So much wisdom in that isn’t there?  Be who you are.  I think it’s the person you reveal to those you know you can trust and offer you nothing but love and hopefully good advice. Is anybody listening?
