In Scale

In Scale
by Michael Romani

To dream with a passion to build
Oh, what power it does hold and wield
With dreams felt, lived without restraint
Prevailing over life without constraint
The moment of making dreams into reality
It is this naked power and ability
To take us from slumber and dreaming
Into the new day's sunlight beaming

The Dreamers Island - Light House Reverie II

Such moments of solitude and in scale
Filled with such transformative detail
Raised hard where there is not trust
Even though knowing that we truly must
Yet, until the day of it's final arrival
All of this a part of life's sordid survival
There it exists in the sense of the possibility
Which comes to form and shape our new reality

Children of the World - Love Is the Change We Need II

All of what it could be; all of what it should do
Has been changed in the architect's abstract view
The music of the spheres plays in liquid libretto
Displayed in the candid sense of a building manifesto
As honor plays in its serpentine slithering performance
In its undulating sense of marbled romance
All of this in magical moments of willing manipulation
Trumpeted out and into a modern blend of fascination

The Beach - Lighthouse Surreality

Cartoonists warp the world into the shapes we see
Asking the why-not that breathes it's sweet fantasy
A new sensation in an experience of functionalism
That turns its back on the solidity of old realism
After all, there are new tales that remain to be told
When no longer restricted by those cages we are sold
All of this dressed up dandily in the name of efficiency
Until sprinkled out in all of its sufficiency
