Anyhow, Any Way

In that bustle of our everyday
We come anyhow, in any way
To draw nearer to our Lord
Following His word like our sword
Drawn out to learn, praise and defend
His message for everyone, foe or friend

Here in God's living presence
We grow, love and represent
Declared as forever not guilty
Righteous in His graceful theology
In our corruptible flesh we live in glory days
In the by and by, of anyhow and any way

Faithful in our daily sense of obedience
More than our half faked compliance
We find ourselves as a living sacrifice
Seeking to do these things more precise
Honestly living freely in our repentance
These are the ways of our acceptance

Coming before God with our hands lifted high
Lifting our hearts in praise under His bold sky
This then is our anyhow and we live this any way
Thankful for your mercy and love guiding our days
Even when we feel lost and aren't feeling it
We need to walk that walk and keep revealing it

No matter how we feel we got to keep to what's real
Knowing it's about Him not us; that's the real deal
We need to confront our own willful resistance
Moving forward keeping on the path in persistence
Step by step we remove our self impediments
Pushing on despite being lost in our side comments

The best that we have of the anyhow and any way
Is to learn the ways and will God a little each day
Reading over and over and putting it to our prayers
Sticking to it so that we know it's always there
Working on our emphasis of gathering up information
This is a key to gaining our best bit of transformation

Before we can do anything all that very well
We have to practice, learn and gain new skills
Obstacles overcome in our anyhow and any way
Are the things we must work against every day
Dealing with all of this to the best of our abilities
Accepting God's grace with the best of authority
